Data Protection policy

What do we do with your information?

When you purchase a product from our online store, we collect personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address and phone contact as part of the buying and selling process. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. E-mail marketing (newsletter): only with your consent, we can send you e-mails about our store, new products and other updates.

Consent

How do we get your consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a purchase, verify your credit card and thus place an order, you are confirming that you agree to its collection and use for this specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, for example for marketing, we will ask you directly for your consent.

Disclosure of your data

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our terms of service.

Payment

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, WooCommerce will store your credit card information. It is encrypted using the Payment Card Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Data about your purchase transactions is stored only as long as it is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Once completed, your purchase transaction information will be deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to standards set by the PCI-DSS organization, which is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a collaborative effort of credit card brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and others. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Third Party Services

In general, the third-party providers that we use collect, use and disclose your information only to the extent necessary to enable us to provide their services. However, some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction intermediaries, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them in purchase-related transactions. In the case of these providers, we recommend that you read their personal data protection policies in order to understand the way in which these providers will treat your personal data. Please note that some providers may be located in or have facilities located in a different jurisdiction than you or us. Therefore, if you choose to engage in a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service provider or its facilities are located.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not unreasonably lost, misused, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, that information is encrypted using secure socket layer (SSL) technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100 percent secure, we comply with all PCI-DSS requirements and implement other generally accepted industry standards. Age of consent By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. Changes to this privacy policy We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time, so please check back often.
